Cathédrale Saint-Pierre + My Favorites
Cathédrale Saint-Pierre is an impressive cathedral located outside of the city centre of Montpellier. Twin towers rise from the cathedral, and these tend to overshadow all of the surrounding buildings. The entrance is located in the doorway on the Rue du Cardinal Cabrières, which is marked by gunshot marks fired by Royalist troops in the early 19th century. The 19th century stained glass windows were recently restored. Many paintings are located within the cathedral, and the most impressive of these is Sébastien Bourbon's 1621 masterpiece The Demise of Simon le Magicien. Admission is free. Address: 6 bis, rue Abbé-Marcel-Montels | Montpellier | 34000 Tel: +33 4 67 66 04 12
Centre Saint Guilhem + My Favorites
Centre Saint Guilhem is located in the heart of the historic city centre of Montpellier. There is a large central courtyard and garden that are open to visitors. Inside the building, there is a library where guests are welcome. The building itself is also home to a Catholic seminary and residence, and several charities and other organizations also are housed here. Basilique Notre-Dame-des-Tables + My Favorites
Basilique Notre-Dame-des-Tables was destroyed and re-built several times between the 16th and 17th centuries, and was temporarily abandoned following the French revolution. Today, it is full of paintings from the 17th to 19th centuries and is designed in a neo-classical style. Address: Place Notre-Dame | Montpellier | 34000
Couvent des Ursulines + My Favorites

The building is now used as a concert venue and choreography centre. Address: Rue de l'Université | Montpellier | 34000 Tel: +33 4 67 60 06 70
